That Was The Day

That was the Day,
The Sun Cheered and Grew Stronger
It was a Hot Hot Day
The Sun Seemed to Shine Longer
That was the Day
The Sun was Happy and Singing,
We Were All There
And We were all Smiling
That was the Day
There was a Stillness in the Air,
A Little Girl was Coming
She was Quite Fair
That was the Day
There was to be a Great Event,
Something Good was Happening
It was Heaven Sent
That was the Day
It was Bright from the Sun,
A Hot Hot Day
But it Sure was Fun
That was the Day
The Sun Burned and Blistered,
And this One Little Girl
Had a New Baby Sister
That was the Day
It Started in the Morn,
We Went to the Hospital
For our Little Girl was Born
That was the Day
It Started in the Morn,
It was a Wonderful Day
Christina was Born
That was the Day
We went to go Get Her
And She Made Our Lives Even Better!

Today

Today, the World Stopped,
So Dreams could Come True
Today, the Birds were Singing,
For they were Happy Too!
Today the Snow Glistened
Yes, Everything was Bright
Today, the Sky was Blue
For Everything was going to be Alright
Today, the Sun was Shining
And the Branches Swayed from the Cool Breeze
Today, a Little Girl's Birth
Was Celebrated by the Man in the Moon
Today, a Miracle Occurred
Fifty-six minute past Noon
Today, a Baby Girl was Born
Her Parents went to go Get Her
Today, Jennifer was Born
And Changed our Lives For the Better!
