Carolyn and Louis
About Carolyn and Lou We met in June of 1989 when Carolyn was a flight attendant and Lou was a pilot back in New York on the 7:00am flight to Boston. We started dating immediately, and became engaged in December of 1990. We were married on January 11, 1992. We started trying for a family six months after we were married. After many years of disappointments of failed fertility treatments that never resulted in a pregnancy, we have realized that it is God's plan for us to start our family through the miracle of adoption. We live in a quiet, and picturesque area of Colorado in our large four bedroom, cedar-ranch style home, located on a dead end street. We have deer and bunnies that are on our property every day! Stunning views of the Rocky Mountain surrounds us. We live near lots of playgrounds and parks for the little one to enjoy. Both of us have excellent positions; Louis is an airline pilot for a major airline. He flies Airbus 320 jets. Carolyn is a corporate sales representative for an internationally known company. We both are very fortunate to have great jobs, that will afford us the chance to spend quality time with a baby and give him or her every opportunity for a wonderful life. (In fact, as an airline pilot, Louis has lots of time off; 15 days a month on average !) We both live an active lifestyle and belong to the local pool club, and enjoy skiing on weekends. Travel is among our deepest joint passions, so the baby will enjoy visiting lots of great places frequently. Two of our favorites are Hawaii and Walt Disney World in Florida, so he or she will visit both of those places especially often. We are both college graduates and understand the importance of an outstanding education which we will provide the baby(s). The school district we live in is top rated, and will give the child an excellent foundation for his or her learning experience. Music is important to both of us, so we hope the baby will enjoy it as much as we do. Carolyn plays the flute, piccolo and piano, and Louis plays the guitar and bass guitar. Louis is of Russian and Hungarian descent with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. Carolyn is of German descent, with hazel eyes, and light brown hair. We both love animals. We own three small breed dogs and four cats. All three of our dogs are one year olds, within a month of each other in age. Aspen is a Bichon Frise, Parker is a Shih Tsu, and Clover is a Maltese. They love each each other and snuggle and play with each other all the time ! We live 5 minutes from our county dog park, where we take them daily and they run and play in a large fenced area unleashed with lots of other area dogs! We know the baby(s) will enjoy going there too! We have three persian cats, Dusty age 7, Princie age 5, and Ivanna age 4. Minky age 2, is our beautiful jet black cat and she is very passionate and is the total lap cat, and also loves to snuggle with the puppies! The arrival of children in our family are eagerly anticipated by Grandpa Lou, Grandma Janice, Grandpa John, Nana Dorothy, Aunt Joanne, Uncle Chris, Aunt Christine, Uncle Kevin, and cousins, Elyse-(age 6), Erika-(age 4), Kiana (age 7) and Shane-(age 3) as well as plenty of extended family, located primarily on the East Coast. Carolyn's family lives in New York, and most of Lou's family lives in central New Jersey. Our children will love to visit Grandpa Lou and Grandma Janice too, at their beautiful oceanfront vacation condo in New Jersey. Lots of fun summer days on the beach will be spent there with the entire family building sandcastles and making special memories!
